Ethics Filings for Putnam County Elected Officials and Candidates for Election
In the state of Georgia, local elected officials and candidates for local elected offices must file certain documents with the State Ethics Commission. Under current state law, these documents are first filed with the Board of Elections and Registration and then transmitted to the State Ethics Commission.
The Board of Elections and Registration has recently implemented a program called "EasyCampaignFinance" which allows officials and candidates to complete required ethics documentation online. As soon as these documents are accepted by the Supervisor of Elections and Registration, they are available for public viewing on the Putnam County EasyFile website.
Filings completed prior to the implementaton of the EasyCampaignFinance program or before a local official or candidate registered for the program are available in the Board of Elections and Registration office for public viewing during regular business hours.
