If you have misplaced your precinct card or have not yet received one after
, you can now access it and print it at home by visiting your My Voter Page on the Secretary of State's website. Voters are not required to show their precinct card at the polls.
Results from last Tuesday's General Election are available here or under the "Election Results" tab.
Polling locations will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 4. If you do not know where your precinct's polling location is, or have any other questions regarding voting and elections, call the BER Office at 706.485.8683.
Voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot can request a ballot be sent to them by filling out an absentee ballot application and returning it to the BER Office. Voted absentee ballots must be returned to the BER Office by 7:00 PM on December 4 in order to be accepted. Absentee ballots cannot be returned at a polling location. Friday, November 30 is the last day the BER can mail absentee ballots. There is no in person absentee voting on Monday, December 3.
Voters who cast a provisional ballot in the 2018 General Election can view their ballot status under the "Provisional Ballot Status" tab. Ballot status can also be obtained by calling the BER Office at 706.485.8683 or by emailing Lynne Laseter at email@example.com. If you have any questions about your ballot or why it was rejected, call the BER Office or email Lynne. The GA Secretary of State also has a website with information about provisional ballots and a provisional ballot hotline that is reachable at 1-844-537-5375.
There will be a run-off election on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 to determine the Secretary of State and Public Service Commissioner. Advance voting will open for the runoff on Monday, November 26 at 8:00 and end on Friday, November 30 at 5:00 pm. Voting will be held at the BER Office in the Courthouse and at the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room in the Putnam County Administration Building.
