Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-417) requires Georgia residents to show photo identification when voting in person. For additional information, please click here or call 706.485.8683.

If you have misplaced your precinct card or have not yet received one after registering , you can now access it and print it at home by visiting your My Voter Page on the Secretary of State's website. Voters are not required to show their precinct card at the polls

Please remember that it is against the GA Election Code to take pictures or film inside of a polling place without prior permission. 

Advance voting for the June 21, 2022 General Primary Runoff will open at 9:00 am on Monday, June 13 and close at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 17. Voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot and have not already applied for a ballot must have their applications in to the Board of Elections and Registration office by Friday, June 10. 

Logic and Accuracy testing for the June 21 General Primary Runoff will take place beginning Monday, June 6 at 10:00 am and continue day to day until every machine to be deployed in the June 21 General Primary Runoff has been tested. L & A Testing will take place in the Board of Elections and Registration Office in the Putnam County Administration Building. The public is welcome to attend. 

Election day polling locations will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. If you do not know where your election day voting polling place is located call the BER Office.

Please be aware that while voters do not register by party in the State of Georgia voters cannot change their party in a runoff from the party they chose in the General Primary Election. However, if a voter did not vote in the General Primary or voted a Nonpartisan ballot that voter would be eligible to vote in either party's election. 

Computation and Canvassing of the General Primary Runoff Election will take place on Wednesday, June 22, at 12:00 pm in the Board of Elections and Registration Office.
