-Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-417) requires Georgia residents to show photo identification when voting in person. For additional information, please click here or call 706.485.8683.

-If you have misplaced your precinct card or have not yet received one after registering , you can now access it and print it at home by visiting your My Voter Page on the Secretary of State's website. Voters are not required to show their precinct card at the polls

-Please remember that it is against the GA Election Code to take pictures or film inside of a polling place without prior permission. 

-The voter registration deadline for the Novmeber 08, 2022 General Election is Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Anyone who wants to register to vote, change their voter registration address, or change the name on their voter registration can come by the office and obtain a voter registration card, download one here, or fill out an online voter registration application

-Advance voting for the November 08, 2022 General Election opens on Monday, October 17 at 9:00 am and closes on Friday, November 04 at 5:00 pm. Voting hours are Monday-Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with no voting on Sundays or the Saturday immediately prior to the election. The first day to apply for an absentee ballot is Monday, August 22 and Friday, October 28 is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot.

Putnam County Board of Elections, 117 Putnam Drive, Suite D, Eatonton, GA 31024

Election Day precincts will be open on Tuesday, November 08 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

NOTICE TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF

PUTNAM COUNTY, GEORGIA

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, October 3, 2022, logic and accuracy testing of the ballot marking device units (BMD), precinct scanner units (ICP), central count unit (ICC), and poll pad voting systems will be conducted in the Board of Elections & Registration Conference Room, located at 117 Putnam Dr., Suite D, commencing at 10:00 AM and continuing day to day until all units have been tested and prepared for the November 8, 2022 General Election.

This testing shall remain open for observation and members of the public are entitled to be present during the preparation and testing of the voting equipment.

This notice is given in accordance with provisions of Official Code of Georgia Annotated and rules of the State Election Board of Georgia.
